Social Insurance Clerk

Social insurance clerks are public service employees who carry out administrative activities such as determining insurance relationships, collecting contributions, granting benefits and the like. However, they also inform and advise insured persons on legal questions of membership and on the benefits of statutory health insurance. They are also active in the acquisition of new customers. They process applications for benefits in the event of illness or long-term care, working together with service providers or contractual partners such as doctors, hospitals, rehabilitation and care facilities, pharmacies, and care services.
